OpenCart 1.5 also includes its own error log viewer for troubleshooting purposes. The following tutorial will walk you through how to navigate, view, and error logs.
Step 1. Log on to the management dashboard as an administrator
Step 2. Hover your mouse over SYSTEM, then scroll down and click the error log.
Step 3. Review the error log, as shown in the screenshot below.
Step 4. Select the CLEAR button to clear the log or keep the current log
Step 5. In the dashboard, select another management option to keep the log
If OpenCart has a problem in any particular area, it is often important to check the error log provided by the application. Use this error log to indicate any errors generated by OpenCart 1.5.
