In the aftermath of the terrible terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night, Google is doing what it can to help those of us outside France to get in touch with friends and family, who may have been caught in the terrible events.
Announced through the post Google+, Google made all the calls in France through its Hangouts app for free international charges they normally incur.
Post unspecified country, as we understand, subscribers can contact loved ones anywhere in the world using the Hangouts app on IOS, Android, or online.
Google+ Post simply states: “We do not think about you, Paris is no fee for calls to France, via Hangouts #ParisAttacks ..”
Google does not the only company offering assistance. The attack, Facebook has activated Check security tool that allows users to quickly alert them to your friends with their status.
People in the affected area have been automatically sent a note asking if they were safe. If they clicked “Yes, let my friends know,” List of friends of this user has been notified that they will not have to worry.
