Eyefi, manufacturers of mobile cloud-connected SD card for photographers, today announced the acquisition of OkDoThis.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

OkDoThis is an application that launched in the summer of 2014, which was to inspire photographers to take pictures through the creative challenges.

Problems on the platform placed community may seem something like “search” or “fill the frame with a circle.”

With the acquisition, the application OkDoThis will live as it currently does, allowing users to choose “Do” call, take a picture and send it to the challenge. Alternatively, however, users of the camera Wifi, connected to Eyefi Cloud, or SD-card Eyefi Moby WiFi you can select the calls before they head to shoot and submit their best shots on the move thanks to integration with OkDoThis.

This acquisition is interesting in this Eyefi has always been focused on solving technical challenges faced by photographers such as photo transmission, organization, etc.

On the other hand, OkDoThis (founded by world-renowned photographer Jeremy Cowart) designed to receive on a daily basis (and Pro) photographers from the usual “flat window” and “pumpkin spice latte” track to make truly inspiring and creative photography,

Eyefi raised a total of $ 36.5 million for four rounds.
