What is Black Friday?
If you do not know what we’re talking about a huge American Black Friday shopping event offering huge savings on electronics, and more, and in 2014 it exploded the rest of the world in unprecedented fashion. In short, in the UK transactions gone mad for 24 hours.
Forget the prime day. On Black Friday last year, Web sites crashed, sales records were broken and buyers eagerly grabbed proposals for technology, games and clothes in what was in many countries a great weekend online shopping history.
Adobe crunched the numbers and reported that on Black Friday in the US last year, consumers spent a record $ 2.4 billion. – To an extraordinary 24% compared to the previous year
In the UK, where shoppers spent £ 810M ($ 1,2 billion) in the past year, John Lewis said its largest sales week of all time, shifting one Nutribullet processor every 30 seconds.
Walmart-owned ASDA stores moved 8000 TV before breakfast and made 130 sales every second during the day, while the games site sale PS4 and Xbox One consoles gamers in the UK at a rate of 3600 per hour.
It was an international cost Frenzy likes of which the internet has never seen before.
So what’s in store for Black Friday 2015? Well, even though the British MPs called on retailers to boycott the Black Friday this year, the likelihood that Black Friday will be even bigger and better than it was in the past. So, where should you go to get the best deals for the day?
Retailers and analysts are already predicting that Black Friday 2015 see £ 1 billion in the first trading day in the UK – more than £ 200 million more than we spent last year.
Why traders hate Black Friday deals
This year, analysts expect the UK shoppers spend more than £ 1 billion on Black Friday – at -This stunning number.
Thus, as the retailers involved in this new and disruptive surge in trading, you can be sure that you get the best deals and where the best deals can be found?
can say with certainty that retailers hate Black Friday. Many of the larger really hate him. This requires them to dump products and thus reduce its already small field at a time when customers are spending money for Christmas anyway, as well as forcing a drastic rethink inventory levels, staff in warehouses and IT departments and all Logistics in a time when they most, preparing for Christmas.
In the past year, many stores slashed prices of the product of panic in the Black Friday web site per cent reduction in the last minute in an effort to enter into an unexpected action, and many end up not making money as a result. One retailer told TechRadar, it actually made losses on the Black Friday sales in 2014
This is the problem with many categories of consumer electronics -. Golf stores already small enough
In short, Black Friday is great that we, as consumers, but a total nightmare for online retailers and Highstreet. But as Adam Simon in the IT stock analyst firm Context told TechRadar last week, “the genie out of the bottle now and there is no putting it back in.”
better deals than last year
Of course, for some retailers, with some products is another story. and the good news is that while the shops enjoy discounts, Black Friday is a hot war and you have to be in it to win it. Thus, you can exclude a retail boycott.
Indeed, figures from the context, show that British retailers imported large notebook in October than any other month in history.
“What we saw in week 41 [early October] that notebook sales through distribution in retail was up 65% in the previous two years,” said Adam Simon, executive director of the context, in an interview with TechRadar. “So we thought, ‘Wow, we better watch this space. Week 42 went in the same direction, and exceedingly high. 70,000 laptops were distributed to retailers.”
This economy of scale at work – more products retailers buy, the lower the price they pay, and better deals for our players. So if you’re after a new laptop, you’d be wise to wait until Black Friday because the case is likely to be even better than Black Friday 2014 you still have to be quick off the mark to get the best deals at – let us be your guide on this subject
You can also expect excellent prices on 4K-TV, PS4 and Xbox one console bundles, Chromecasts, IPADS and smartphones, as well as
Team !. Another trick that retailers are pulling this year is the distribution of transactions from a broader period. itself.
